Research paper prepared in English in MS word   template not exceeding 12-15 single spaced typed pages should be submitted electronically as attachment at E-mail Id of Journal. The submitted manuscript must not have been previously accepted for publication or under review elsewhere. The Editor relies upon the evaluation reports provided by the reviewers, the originality and relevance of the ideas addressed in the article and the possible contribution to the journal in deciding whether to accept the manuscript for publication.

The Past decade has seen some of the developing countries transform from mere export destinations into biggest markets with lucrative consumption patterns and enormous growth potential. These economies are rapidly catching up with innovative business practices and technological enhancements which have brought them mostly at par with global business giants. Traditional models of marketing are being redesigned in the wake of modern challenges faced by the firms. Excessive reliance on 4 P’s model had restricted the marketing growth of firms. Marketers have been striving hard to find a way out.

In this backdrop, Faculty of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University, which has been delivering management education since 1968, is organizing an International Conference on “Marketing Paradigms in Emerging Economies” on 4-5 December, 2012. The conference aims at providing a platform for cross fertilization of ideas among Academicians, Researchers, Practitioners, Entrepreneurs, Domain experts and students.

It is important to mention that the whole Nation is celebrating the 150th birth anniversary of the Visionary Founder of Banaras Hindu University, Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya Ji. This Conference will also be part of the University’s endeavor to commemorate this mega event.

THEMES OF CONFERENCE:
Research papers and articles addressing any significant issue or covering some innovative marketing frameworks and practices with special reference to emerging economies are invited from both academicians and practitioners. Papers should originate from real business practices in the emerging economies or some empirical research work done in this area.

PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES, REVIEW PROCESS & ACCEPTANCE NOTICE:
Please email by the deadline a copy of a Completed or Nearly Completed Paper or an Abstract in word file. The cover page should include the author(s) name, affiliation, address, phone and email of each author and the name of the track. All papers will be blind reviewed and outcome in terms of whether accepted or not will be announced within two weeks after arrival of the paper. References should be as per APA norms.

SUBMISSION DEADLINES: 
Date of Abstract Submission: 15th of July, 2012. (Abstract should be of Minimum 300 words including Problem, Aim, Research Methodology, Finding, Implication)
Communication of Acceptance: 31st of July, 2012.
Submission of full paper: 31st of August, 2012.
Registration Dead line: 31st of October, 2012.


REGISTRATION FEES AND PUBLICATION FEES: 
·Basic registration fee (includes lunch and break-foods for 2 days, and one dinner) plus conference kit:
Rs 5000/- for industry delegates
Rs 3000/- for delegates from Academia
US$ 300 – for foreign delegates
Rs. 2000/- – for Student Delegates
Registration after 31 October 2012 with a late fee of Rs. 500 -/or US $ 50.
